Early Attempts at Flash

Theres not too much to say about these. Don't expect anything great. I can't believe I actually did this stuff. Well, if it wasn't for them, I guess I wouldn't have improved. Any Actionscript in these is very minimal, in fact, the only two I can think of are Sonic's Running Sequence, and the first FBF thing I did. Well enough gabbing for me. Here are the first nine things I did in flash. Of course there is actually a tonne more that I did, but didn't bother to upload them. Most are just small little tests I did with flash at the beginning anyways.

Here is a fairly recent test. Did it about 1 month ago (Please note when I created this). I was trying to simulate mouth movement. I also am trying to figure out motion tweens. They are so stinking finiky its not even funny. I also incorporated sound into it. I learned some interesting techniques about sound volume control in flash.

Everyone who has seen this has called it a knock off of Monsters Inc. Though I see no semblance anywheres.

This is an obvious one. What I'm going to do is rip the sounds myself though, as my current library doesn't have the highest quality eating sounds. I saw it as a project in a school course that I wasn't a part of, but I wanted to test it out anyways.

Sonic the Hedgehog. This was my first test with scenes, and actionscript. It's not perfect, but was pretty cool because I used custom motion paths. Something I struggled with for a while. This inspired me to do my 404 page.

This is a quick battle sequence with Crono and Lavos. When I say quick, I mean quick.

This one was inspired by Madness Combat. But then, most recently, what hasn't? Krinkel sure has a great character concept. Too bad I don't. This flash as you can tell by its file size is short. Too short. I was an idea I was going to do, but didn't get around to doing it. I am planning on innovating Krinkels original design a little for a future project.

I was inspired to do this one quickly when I saw an entry on had it done this way. This is a short frame by frame animation, it was the first time I used onion skinning. I can look back on this now and truly say its crap.
