Welcome to the new version of Nixopax.com! I updated the template way back at the end of April, I've been slowly getting all the links up to speed. Some links still work on the old site, so don't worry if you came to this site via the old links. Below is a blog of updates about this site, and my life in general.
Thursday, December 25, 2008 3:34 AM: Would you look at that, another year of being online, and a Christmas is upon us. Merry Christmas then. In light of some inner searching, I'll have news up sometime when I get around to actually typing it out. Too busy right now preparing the dinner for later today.
Sunday, February 17, 2008 8:31 PM: </3
Thursday, January 17, 2008 1:58 PM: Well another year has come for that birthday dance to be done. It's my intent though, to remain 21. So regardless of this being my 22nd birthday today, I'm staying 21 mentally, and will retain my youth physically by all means possible. Rawr. Here's hoping I get to talk to my special one today. <3
Tuesday, December 25, 2007 12:04 AM: Merry Christmas! It's been incredibly busy around here... LUCKILY, I'm getting a system of systems implemented shortly, to smoothen and streamline the whole process. 2007 was an amazing year, and I look forward to an even better 2008.
Saturday, September 29, 2007 8:05 PM: Oh gosh, look how long it's been since I've last updated! A lot has happened in that time with websites, but not much for this one, other than the server was under attack by DDOS spambots, which eventually shut down the server. I think there's going to be a bit more time in the near future for me to do some updates around here, at least to the template, and how things are being called serverside wise.
Thursday, March 1, 2007 2:36 AM: Well a full month just zoomed on by. That sure was fast. It really didn't feel that long. Feels like barely even a week has gone by. Life is incredibly busy. Each day is so loaded it's unreal.
Wednesday, January 31, 2007 9:02 PM: Ouch.Yesterday after about 45 pushups, something "twanged" in my lower right abdomen. I don't want to be paranoid and think it's a hernia, but I need to take it easy now. However, the likelyhood of that happening is pretty slim considering the workload going on in my life right now. It's absolutely crazy. I had a full day of work planned, but instead got pulled into a full day doing something entirely different. Tomorrow is likely going to be the exact same thing as today. Setting up shelves. This Friday is the last day of unorganization in the office area. We're trying to get as much done as we can before February 2nd ends. This new month promises to be fun.
On a side note, new starts aren't a one day affair. Heck, they're not even a 1 month deal. We're going to have to see just how long it takes until my life is finally and totally cleaned out where I actually have the time I need to get a good nights rest. 5 hours this night, 7 the night before, and on monday, none at all. I went about 36 hours on no sleep when the injury happened, and some minor injuries just aren't healing up right now. How much I appreciate the little sleep I get.
Tuesday, January 23, 2007 8:41 AM: Swing on over to Anthony's site and wish him a happy 22nd Birthday! While you're there, check out his art.
Wednesday, January 17, 2007 11:45 AM: Whatever that birthday dance is that I do, I probably did it again. Who knows, after all 21 IS a special age. Take THAT Anthony, I'm as old as you are again... on paper... for 6 days... phooey.
Monday, December 25, 2006 9:13 PM: Merry Christmas one and all! Today has been a fabulous day, despite how much food I've eaten. Oi. I can't believe all that I ate. Tomorrow, I hope to be back on raw, but for such a social event, today was a special one, that's for sure. As such, some stuff was eaten that I'm already beginning to regret. I also had a severe desire to start working on my site once again. Now, in regards to my last blog post about something big from something small, that's still in the works, but believe me, THIS IS BIG. Life has been a non stop struggle for about 6 weeks straight now. I've hardly had time to talk to the girl that means a lot to me, it's been wearing on me, not to mention some other stressful stuff coming up, and this constant workload. For all those that worry though, please don't. In 6 days, I will no longer be who I am today. 2007 is a rebirth of our family. We're starting over again, having a fresh start. We're getting all the crap out of life, and this time, it's forever. I'm going to have a clear mind, a clear desk to work on, and a clean slate, wherein Lord willing I won't EVER fall to the snares of this world. I'm getting happier just thinking about this new start.
I REALLY need to fix my guestbook. >_< Spammers, you're going down. You know, the more I get into security related information, about how to block attacks, and exploit fixes, it depresses me. One can't learn how to block such attacks unless you know how to do them, and it really wears on your mind having such evil knowledge. Hacking is something I sort of want to get out of, but it's so intriguing, and just because I stop, it doesn't mean the world does. User interaction is ALWAYS under scutiny, and I found out that my mail form is vulnerable. Expect that to change. I need to write a PHP hardening article regarding that one of these days. Yeah right. After I finish writing that simple PHP template site. *roll eyes*
Peace on Earth, Good will to all, and loving life. Just stay positive, and if you are, there is NOTHING that can turn you. Love. Forgiveness. Joy. Suffering. Learning. What a way to close out the grandiose year of 2006.
Oh, I should have some pictures and videos of our Christmas day up some time soon.
Wednesday, December 13, 2006 1:47 PM: Wow of all wows. I can't believe I let my website go neglected like this. Expect something big... from something small. Soon.
Sunday, September 17, 2006 9:36 PM: Today was an amazing day. I started it off by talking to a pretty amazing girl. Of course we'd been talking for... 3 hours earlier, and carried on until 2. Then, 8 hours of sleep later, dressed to impress, smelling great, clean shaven, went right back at it for a short while before I headed off to the most exciting exhibit I've ever been to. I've done trade shows over the years, cruising the booths. But this time, I was representing a company whose philosophy is about going back to nature; to build our life around the foundations of the earth. The food that is. Grasses, grains, herbs, fruits & vegetables. These are the building blocks of life. Humans are herbivores by nature, despite MAJOR controversy from those that can't live without animal products. But that's for another day. Today, I went to the Feast of Fields which is in its entirety, is a trade show for the highest quality foods you could imagine. That means, organic. Non genetically modified food, no pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, harmful fertilizers, and all that is normally subjected upon us without our knowledge when we buy non-organic foods. There were even some foods that had gone that extra mile and applied Ocean Grown to grow with. The word: "Amazing" is defined by Webster as "to fill with wonder: Astound". That one word, compounded upon itself ten times over still wouldn't be enough to begin to describe how awesome this festival was. An outdoor event, loaded with happy, fresh people milling about, trying everything, and having a good time, learning more and more as they passed by each booth. The food, the atmosphere, and the location were outstanding.
The company I was representing is called terratree. There were two booths that I'd go back and forth from. The one booth was where we'd just be giving out samples of a delicious 100% raw organic Apple Chutney on Shortbread. The Shortbread was made from Ocean Grown sprouted buckwheat flour, and Coconut cream. The chutney itself was sliced up apples, peaches, raisins, cinnamon, tumeric, cayenne, and well, the list of spices went on. There was GREAT reception from everyone that tried it. And topped off on it was a freshly plucked peppermint leaf. It's just occured to me now that I didn't get any pictures of this gourmet treat, but because of the popularity of this special one time only treat, the rave reviews to be had I'm sure, and the common question: "Where can I buy this?" will surely mean that this will see the light of day once again in the near future. The second booth was the actual product that terratree produces full time. They're called Sunzas. There are two main types of Sunzas although only one was showcased today. A Sunza is a cracker specially made by terratree with one of two bases. Flax seeds or Buckwheat. This show focused on the Flax Seed cracker. They are always well received. This is because they're 100% raw, and organic... and delicious! These amazing crackers go good with anything. Bursting with flavour. It's made by sprouting flax seeds, along with other seeds, vegetables, and natural flavours; spread out on dehydration pans, and then over a long period of time, they're dried at very low temperatures. Kept between 104 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit. This preserves all enzymes and nutrients within the food. There are debates as to what temperature the enzymes start dying, and it varies anywheres from 104 up to 115 degrees Fahrenheit. But regardless of all that, these crackers are raw, with all their enzymatic properties intact, Omega-3 enriched, healthy, and tasty to boot. People were quite impressed, and had lots of questions, like: "How do you keep the cracker together?". Well that's pretty easy. When you soak flax seeds, they give off a gelatinous liquid, and is a nice binding agent when you spread out the mixture and dehydrate. So to sum up how my day went... RAWSOME! I hope to have many more like this, and I'm looking forward to next years show.
Tuesday, September 5, 2006 5:12 PM: Hey everyone! I had a fantastic long weekend at our family cottage. I went hiking on Saturday... barefoot. It didn't hurt too badly. For those that know what Ontario is like, I stepped on a few acorns, but all in all, the barefoot thing didn't hurt me, but the sticks and stones were scraping my ankles up REALLY bad. I got some ointment on them, so they should be okay. Also on Saturday, I tried to swim, but the water was too cold. The wind was blowing too though, so that's the main reason it was cold. So, instead of swimming, we went on a tube pulled by one of our boats. On Sunday, I wanted to sit and read by the fire for a long time, but instead, we went canoeing, I had fun though, went for hours around the islands. Again, I went barefoot while canoeing, and had to portage in one place where the rocks were slimy and slippery. Had to be careful, lugging a canoe around. So, on Monday, we (I don't know HOW) agreed to all get up, get in shorts, and race to the deepest end of the lake. The water was pretty cold. That was a given though. We all went back inside, warmed up, and then Anthony carted me off into the bush for a few hours to keep him company, fight off the giant man eating bears and take a few pictures at the same time. After coming back, having some lunch, Anthony and I went and collecting firewood, while my dad went out to check something on the boat, the chain on the buoy holding the boat in the bay snapped because of rust. So he had Anthony get on some swimming gear and dive down and tie a temporary rope, so we all got in swimming gear and just wade about. Anthony then wanted to go on the tube again, and said that I should do it. I wasn't up to it this time; first of all we attached it to a MUCH more powerful boat this time. I was FAST! 40 MPH easily! So, my dad had me in the boat first, videotaping as he drove, and caught Anthony in a MAJOR wipeout. I have it on videotape here and should check it out soon so, after he gets back onto the TUBE, he goes for another 10 minutes or so on it. They then prod ME onto the tube despite me not wanting to do it. They say they'll go slower. HA! They went slower, sure, but slower is relative to the boat you're using. If you went slower in a more powerful boat, it's like going as fast as you can in the previous boat used. I gained airtime baby! I went sailing through the air more than a few times, doing all that I could to stay on that tube. Then on one super sharp curve, the thing flipped and flung me into the water, and then neatly flipped back over. It was ALOT of fun. Too bad my wipeout wasn't caught on video tape. I'll just have to watch Anthony’s over and over again to appreciate mine. Kids also go back to school today, so hopefully, I'll have alot more time to get some work done.
Friday, August 11, 2006 3:48 PM: Well well well. If it isn't more than a month after the last update. This really is sad. Let's just give a quick update of my life. I'm currently 9 weeks into the Raw Vegan lifestyle, and it's been going just great. I've joined an online community dedicated to that, and it's going to be quite fun to watch how this all turns out. Eat Raw Food! It's Rawsome! Speaking of Rawsome, that's the username of a guy at the community site as well. He's the one that introduced our family to the raw vegan idea and to exist on the king and queen of foods. More on that later. For sure. After getting these two new macs up and running, and me getting my head wrapped around how to actually use a mac, then I should have ALOT more time to focus on this website. I hope. As for anything else that's happened in the past month and a bit since the last update, let's see. I helped develop a cancer information site. The site is still pretty new, and only has a few pages up, but it'll have an articles section set up in a short little while, and it's a good read for any of those interested. What we all know about cancer is so distorted, and this site does a pretty good job about how to see through that.
Tuesday, June 27, 2006 12:41 PM: Alright, a new page has been added. It was originally going to be a blog post, but after seeing how long it became, I've made a new page for it. There's something about humans.
Sunday, June 25, 2006 2:43 PM: I'm doing some site updates right away, and will mostly be in the about me section. Watch for them soon.
Sunday, June 4, 2006 7:36 PM: Wow. MORE than a month this time. This is rather sad that this site is getting neglected so much. But for those that know me, and talk to me, you know what's happening in my life that causes this all to happen the way it is. Yesterday was possibly the best day of my life. I got to talk to an AMAZING girl, and hopefully help her sort out an issue that she is having, and I'm going to be sorting out the issues that I have shortly. This is all possible thanks to the law and power of attraction. Simply put, have enough positive energy put towards something, think about it enough, put yourself in alignment to receive what you want, and it will happen. I'm focusing on the positive aspects of life. I decided to go out on a walk earlier today, and I enventually sat down at the top of the hill that I climb every Sunday when I go out on my walks, and decided to "meditate" I didn't sit in some wacky position, nor hum. I just sat there for a while, looking out, down the hill, up at the blue, blue sky, looking at the clouds, with some relaxing music playing on my MP3 player, and closed my eyes, and started breathing deeply. After 3 minutes, I opened my eyes, took a deep breath, and focused on those thoughts that went through my mind, got up and walked home. Life has been fabulous so far, and I intend to let it just get better and better. Something else amazing happened today. I added one of my old schools to my Myspace profile, and in the alumni, was a friend that I hadn't talked to in years. Total amazement is one feeling I felt, that's for sure. Now I can only hope that Geoff Frazer will get the email and we'll be able to talk for the first time in about 3 years, and catch up where we last left off.
Sunday, April 30, 2006 11:23 PM: I think I see a trend here, and I'm not liking it. It's called Monthyly updates. I hardly call putting a 10 sentence blurb on my site an update though. Let's just say, life is busy. VERY busy. Which is a good thing. For the most part. As for that Header and Footer Tutorial, I got about 1/3 of the way through, and then I dropped it. I should get back to it, and with it, vastly improve my own site. What I need is like... 48 hours in a day to do all my stuff. Today, was the first day in 2 weeks that I was allowed to eat solid food. I have just finished a cleansing fast. The Neera Super Cleanse was 2 weeks long for me, where I only drank water, and a mixture I called the Neera mixture. The Neera mixture is Lemon Juice, Madal Bal Maple syrup, Water, and Cayenne Pepper. It tasted pretty good, and normally satiates you quite well. The only difficulty I really experienced was when I had to prepare food for others, and just when the rest of the family would sit down for dinner, because my olfactory system just goes ape when I smell cooked food. But I'm going to be able to work on that in the future and control myself alot better. In 14 days, I lost 12 pounds. I'd say that went QUITE well. The first 4 days were the worst. That's when the body suffers the most. You get massive headaches, and feel sapped of energy. This is because the body is releasing toxins to get rid of them. This is easily combatted by drinking plenty of water, but alas, I made the foolish mistake of not drinking enough water. I practically drank equal portions of the Neera mixture to water. 3 cups of Neera a day, and about the same for water. I should've been drinking about 8 cups of water at least. Well, next time around, I'm going to be ready to take it on and do just great, because I now have a bit of experience and know what to expect. I just hope I don't get a hankering to do that for a little while. As for work, I got a new website that I'll be working on, called: thebestfoodever.com I'll be working a bit with the designer to bounce ideas around, and come up with something functional. Then we're going to work on page creation, and sales copy. The site is going to be about the worlds super foods and super juices. It will have a resource section with articles and videos explaining the importance of eating properly, and the danger of the North American diet. We're also going to implent e-commerce into it and sell some products. I'm also doing some research into SSL to secure the shopping cart, as well as a members only area. I really need to update my site, I just can't believe I haven't made a new page yet, nor touched my flash animations in the longest time. ARGH!
Friday, March 24, 2006 11:50 AM: One month later, and I'm doing great. Whatever hit me eventually went away. Now that I've bounced back, it's time that I update this site, and update you all with what's happening. Several large projects have popped up, and as such, my site will be the last thing on that list of projects, as always. But I do believe that I'm going to find some time to do some updating of my site. In fact, I'm redoing my Backgrounds Site and will make it much more friendly to update if the need should ever come to that; and if not, then it'll be a great learning curve for me. I'll be redoing the gallery so that it runs completely on MySQL queries. But I'm going to have to learn more about that, and how to control how many are shown per page and what not. I'm also going to have to learn about how PHP/MySQL pagination works, and how to go about doing that. As for this site, I'm planning on ditching the "ID" per pages thing. I've found that Header and Footer files are much nicer to work with, and although you do have many more files to work with, I have worked with a template that allows me to control absolutely ANYTHING I want on the page. It certainly beats the current setup of my site. I should write a quick little tutorial about how to make a header, body, and footer based website in my PHP section. Check back in the next little while, it just might be here for that.
Friday, February 24, 2006 10:02 AM: Just great. Another month almost gone. Nothing new for the site. Sorry for the few that visit. The work that I do sucks up alot of my time, and then other free time is devoted to stuff non related to this site. On top of all that, I'm being pounded by the flu or something. Raise your hand if you've ever coughed and felt like you have a ball of spikes caught in your larynx. *Raises Hand.
Friday, January 27, 2006 10:10 AM: Wow. It's been one full year since leaving North Park. I haven't been back since late February 2005. It's quite surprising. 14.5 years of school, and it's already been 1 year since I've been out. I can say though, that I've grown quite a bit during that 1 year period. Major changes. I've spent the last year learning and working. I've done PHP, dabbled in MySQL, did many, MANY hours of Audio/Video post production. The audio side alone probably took about 500 hours of work, and it is far from completion. I'm probably only half done the audio editing portion of this project. That being the most time consuming audio edits at least. All videos, here on in are getting their audio redone thanks to faulty camera setups, and the fact that audio quality is significantly raised. I've done CD/DVD duplication. Printed and Burnt thousands of DVD's, and spent many sleepless nights trying to fill orders. Work just won't stop... isn't it great?
Tuesday, January 17, 2006 11:51 AM: Well, it's final. I'm Twenty (20). The big two OH. Chucking dirt, and all those other age related jokes. Wow. Twenty years gone just like that. Yikes. 19 yesterday, 20 today, 40 Tomorrow.
Sunday, January 1, 2006 0:11 AM: Happy New Years! I was sitting on the couch counting down with Times Square. CBC didn't show the standard Royal Canadian Air Farce Yearly Review this time :(. Wow. I seriously cannot believe it's 2006. Where and how did the time go? This new year is full of hope and promise of a steady workflow and some learning as well. Hope you all make the best of it!
Saturday, December 24, 2005 1:49 AM: Wow. I can't believe how long it's been since I've updated this site. Time just flies by. It's disheartening. In less than 30 days, I'm turning 20. It's scary how fast life goes by. I have to ask myself. How? Where? What? Where does it go? Well. Don't let me bring you down. Merry Christmas one and all. I wish you a safe journey to be with loved ones and to enjoy yourself. Take account for those that are less fortunate than you. It has been 354 days since the Tsunami hit. Where are all the survivors? I can only hope that they have something and someone dear to hold onto tommorrow. Well, enough chit-chat from me. I have a huge work project on the go that's due on Boxing Day. I'd better get cracking. Next update will be 6 months from now. Just kidding. ^_^
Monday, October 31, 2005 11:17 AM: Happy Halloween! Gorge yourselves on Candy. Call the doctor, whatever floats your boat. After a long, long while, I've updated this site. The about page has two pages added to it, and this template has some minor adjustments. Like the text links I've added to the bottom. Hope you all rot your teeth out of your head from the excess eating of candy. :D
Friday, October 14, 2005 5:45 PM: Tonight is the night. The night that school ends for me in entirety. I'm off in an hour to pick up my diploma at commencement. It's somewhat exciting. I went last year to pick up an award for English, but since I wasn't graduating, I didn't get the robe and hat. So, this year I'm getting both. Something I've been thinking about alot recently too. I never thought the day would really come when I actually would graduate high school. I've been going through life like it were a dream. It's really scary, because I wake up to the fact that I now have a lot of responsibility put on me being out of school.
Monday, September 26, 2005 10:03 AM: On Friday, September 23, I got all four of my wisdom teeth extracted. While not exactly painful, my jaw is a little sore. I've been taking pain killers that are loaded with codeine and caffiene. They say the caffiene promotes healing or whatever. The side effect of that is the insomnia that you experience. I was up for 22 hours straight. I was extremely tired, but couldn't fall asleep. Over the weekend, I got about 8 hours total of sleep. Note: That's cumulative, not consectutive. So, in my many hours of being awake, I did some flash stuff. I found a funny picture of cloud. He was a chibi doll, so I brought him into flash, and animated him. I fixed up his eyes. Then I decided to expand upon this and make some more characters. After making Aeris and Tifa off this model, I got lazy and just traced some bitmap stuff for the background and the mad pony for them to battle. I also did a random number generator for the hits to be random. Just click on the cloud figure to view this flash animation.
Sunday, September 11, 2005 4:23 PM: We're back! That was lotsa fun. Pulling up four sections of Dock that weighed at least 400 pounds a piece. But I got to see the cottage for the last time this year. It's still summer, the leaves haven't turned fiery colours yet. Well, for the past couple of days I've been working on some PHP stuff again. You should check it out. My PHP page, and the GD image manipulation page
Friday, September 9, 2005 9:19 PM: We're off to the cottage for this weekend. Just for two days. The first day is going to be a bit relaxing. But on Sunday, that's the day we shut the cottage down until next year. There was talk that it was going to stay open until October, but things didn't go that way this year. Maybe next year. Well, I'll be back on Monday.
Wednesday, September 7, 2005 1:30 PM: Yeah, I'm back. Was back on the 18th. I just didn't feel like telling you all that. Yesterday was the first day of school. It's sad; because I didn't go. I graduated last January(mentioned that earlier this year) and now that I don't have school, there is this huge gap in my life. For 14 years, I was in school. Now, there is nothing. It's been bugging me for about 3 months now. So much in fact that I'm making a flash video about it. It's called
学校の最後の日 (Last Day of School) If you can't see the symbols, that just because it's in japanese, and your computer doesn't have them installed. The reason it's in Japanese is because I'm doing it anime style. Since I know practically nothing about anime, I've been doing tonnes of reading tutorials and books on how to draw anime, and I've been watching anime videos to understand some basic concepts. I have the characters done in one pose and one of the settings as well. This is a huge flash project that will take a long time to do. I have the script and storyline all set up too. I might put this in the NG alphas. I'll also put a page up with updates on the project.
Friday, August 12, 2005 9:42 PM: Well, The family is off to the cottage! You have to get away from it all, and then after getting away from that, you have to get away from the relaxing beach. Hehe.
[virtual tumbleweed]For any person out there who cares. [/virtual tumbleweed]Yep. Just the family going to a great cottage on our own private beach and bay. It's a little piece of "sweetness" ^__^
I'm gonna be gone until August 18th. I'm looking forward to this vacation.
Wednesday, August 10, 2005 4:05 PM: Time, that's all I need. I can't believe it passes so fast. It felt like I updated this site just yesterday. Well, anyways, enough of my lamentations. I finished a flash piece. Head on over to my new flash page or the movie itself. I mentioned it in my previous blog post here. I've finished my part on this movie. Now, we just have to wait for the rest of the guys to finish theirs, and I can submit it to some places.
Tuesday, July 26, 2005 7:29 PM: Wow, what a month. It's been over a month since last update. So, I'll start off by saying, Happy Canada Day! And I've noticed that I just hit the 10,000 page hitmark. I'm pretty happy. It took ten months, but I'm happy. Of course, that counter doesn't tell the true story. My logs tell me different. Anyways, I've been working like a busy beaver/moose/squirrel or whatever other Canadian stereotype animal you want to call me. I finished J.I.G. Video last month, but nothing was finalized until the beginning of this month I think. Oh well, I'm glad that's over. It was a great learning experience. My first ever freelance. I don't I'll be doing that again any time soon. I prefer working with my team instead of pulling it off completely on my own. Yesterday, I followed a link that someone posted, and it brought me to this wonderful web tutorial site. Tizag.com has some basic info about PHP and MySQL, so I've been working on that for a while yesterday and today. I connected to a database a while back and it really didn't do anything for me, so I kinda forgot about it. But these tutorials got me started again. Now, I'm working on the basics, so I should be able to do some cool things. Who knows, I could even make my entire site run off of MySQL, rather than includes. As for anything regarding flash. I haven't had too much time to work on any projects as of yet, but I have got some quality time in on the Super Mario Music Video. I Fixed up the preloader quite a bit, and I've finished a couple more seconds of the movie. I'm only about 25% done right now. It's going to be about 4 minutes long. I've also started a flash collaboration at the Hyperboy forums with a bunch of flash artists that claim they can't do good flash stuff, so we're all coming together to do a "crap collab". I've already got the music done, so you should head over to my music page to check it out, I'm going to put up some of the stuff I've done recently in Adobe Audition.
Sunday, June 19, 2005 5:05 PM: Well, It's been 9 days since the prom, and I've finally gotten around to actually writing more about it than just on this blog alone. Here is the new page for it, My Prom night.
Friday, June 17, 2005 11:12 PM: Feeling adventureous today, I went out and programmed a little script that makes 1,000 fake email addresses. Saturday, June 11, 2005 1:12 AM: Well, today, err... Yesterday was the prom. It went from 5:30 till who knows when. I left at quarter to 12. Had enough loud, raunchy music for one night. It was a fairly uneventful night. $75 to just walk around not knowing pretty much everybody. I knew some people there, but because I was a return student, most of the students I knew went to the prom last year, so I missed out on that. From 7 till 8 was the dinner, where we waited to get called up, and our table #33 was the last table, so They forgot to call it, right until the VERY, very end. Next on the list was dancing. The music started, and never stopped. It was so loud, I just couldn't believe it. You had to yell at the top of your lungs, and everyone still had to ask what you just said. I was sitting the farthest from the dance floor, and it was still stinking loud. I have a few pictures of the prom, and I'll put them up later. I'll make a prom page for all the stuff involved in it.
Thursday, June 9, 2005 12:14 PM: Due to my younger brothers inability to ask questions, I found out on Tuesday that the Prom is going to be on Friday, June 10! That's tommorrow! Because I only needed to go to school for semester 1, I never found out when the date was set for, so I missed out. Luckily, I managed to get a ticket. So tommorrow night, I'm getting my suit and tie, and gonna have a bit of fun. Hopefully. :D
Monday, June 6, 2005 11:43 AM: I've been working hard, and have finally finished my first freelance website. JIGVideo.com. Although it's not up right now, it will be by the end of this week. I just have to iron out some of the messes with the old server. I've also made a tutorial on how to make a pill-style logo in Photoshop.
Monday, May 23, 2005 3:06 PM: Update time! I've been working hard for the past few weeks, and still haven't gone too far with my own site. Because it's Victoria Day up here in Canuck-land, I got a vacation today. I got to stay home and work on my site, among other things. I've finally finished my programming page, so I don't think that'll change too much in the future. I've uploaded about 20 files of C++ source code for all those that are interested. It's all from a class I took back in 2002. Programming A lá Allan.
Also, Please note at the bottom of every page are two buttons that display valid CSS and Valid HTML 4.0.1. This is true for the entire site... except for pages that have flash. If anyone out there knows of a good way to validate flash, let me know. I found one way to do it, so I'll try that and work on it.
Thursday, May 12, 2005 6:13 PM: Well, This is a well deserved update. I haven't really done much in the way of updating my news page in a while. This is the new template. Has been for about 2 weeks now. I hope its much easier on the eyes in comparison to the last two ... attempts. This entire site is built completely out of php includes. I learnt how to do it, and since it's not too complicated, I just started moving my stuff over page by page. I still have a ways to go, but other website projects have completely sapped time from this project. I have 5 websites on the go as of right now. 7KnotsLanding.com, JEC7.com, J.I.G. Video, The Cool Abstract Backgrounds Resource, and finally, this site itself. I also have 3 other sites on the go, but they are in a bit of stasis until time and resources are pooled with the team and then we can continue. I still have quite a few pages left to go on this site. I have to make the programming page, and the about me page. Once I have the above sites finished, I'll be able to make my portfolio site. Which will appear in the about section. Well, cheers to the new template. Tell me what you guys think about it! Sign here or you can email me.
While you're waiting for the rest of the stuff to appear on my site, check out these two awesome online comics:
Tuesday, April 26, 2005 11:04 PM: \/\/007!1!one... again. 4000 visitors. Thanks guys, couldn't do it without y'all. Well, for those that frequent my photoshop section, especially the abstract backgrounds section I had to remove them for a little while. I know you guys want to get them back on your sites and stuff like that, so don't worry, they'll be back online soon. Just had to clean them up and I've been pretty busy with this new site. I finally decided that even this new template isn't good enough, so I went in and made some MAJOR changes to it. It should be up within a week because I've been able to devote some time to it. One thing I'm going to implement into this new site is php on all pages, and have them dynamically generated, so it might or might not be up in a week. While you're waiting, I made this flash about Chip and Dale and it was my first flash to survive on Newgrounds.

Friday, April 22, 2005 11:40 AM: I know I haven't updated the new site like I said I would, I have to change the template yet again, as I'm missing some stuff that should to be there. That, compounded with the fact that I'm busy on several sites all at once. I was contracted to do a quickie site for 7knotslanding.com yesterday, so I have the template quickly made and am working on it now. So far all those that care and would like to see what my new site will look like: newtemplate remember, it's not going to be exactly like shown. I'm going to change some css, and other stuff, and maybe a bit of yellow too.
Wednesday, April 6, 2005 11:19 AM: Well, this seems to be happening more often, 3000 visitors! w00t!!1! That shouldn't happen again for at least a week now ;) BTW, the site templates coming well. Should be done in at least a week. Although with work I might not get it all populated. This entire site is going to go. Everything is to be changed to one single version. That way theres no stupid lite and heavy versions to my site, but one simple, easy, and good looking version.
Monday, April 4, 2005 4:08 PM: Well, you better not get used to this current site layout. I'm updating. I've been so stinking busy with other sites that I've neglected mine. My current project is that of a local Video Production Company. If you're interested in what it currently looks like, J.I.G. Video and what my version looks like.
While you wait for me to do something new though, why don't you check out the fourth and final addition to the Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom #4! I was one of the first 200 to see it when it was released on Newgrounds. I logged into the portal and then saw it right at the top. Check it out:
